CREATING THE ENERGY SUPPLY AND SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE FOR SHIPPING’S DECARBONISATION

The next virtual ship.energy summit, will take place on 7-8 September 2021, and will focus on building the energy supply infrastructure that will be needed to support shipping’s decarbonisation.

This second ship.energy summit will takee a very practical approach to the energy revolution. Who will supply the new marine fuels and how will the landside supply infrastructure be put in place? Who will foot the massive bill for the supply infrastructure for multiple new fuels? How are ports and storage providers working to support the provision of new fuels? Will the bunker hubs of today be the supply hubs of tomorrow? Are the technical and safety regulations and guidelines governing fuel supply evolving at a sufficient pace? Are today’s marine fuel suppliers gearing up to supply the new fuels and who are the new players who are moving into the supply space?

The event will address these questions through a combination of case studies, presentations and highly focused discussion panels which will draw on the insights of leading industry experts.
