Have your say in Government's public consultation on devolution in Hampshire and the Solent; 19th March 2025, Online
Hampshire County Council is inviting stakeholders to join a specially organised online Teams Live event on the County Council’s response to the Government’s proposals for Devolution for the wider Hampshire and Solent region, as well as Local Government Reorganisation, and what this means for local communities and businesses. It is important that the area’s world-leading maritime sector is front and centre of the work that a new Strategic Authority takes forward to support economic growth.

Both Devolution and reorganisation will change the local government landscape in the region, with the former bringing greater funding, decision-making powers and responsibilities to local leaders and a new Mayor for the region.
