Made Smarter is a government-funded push to drive growth in manufacturing SMEs, helping boost productivity and increase their competitive edge through new industrial technologies. 

The pilot programme will run until 31st March 2026 and provide up to £20k, up to 50% grant, specialist advice, leadership and workforce champion training, and student placements. The programme is aimed at helping small and medium–sized businesses improve productivity, reduce downtime and boost their competitive edge.

Eligible Technologies include (but are not limited to):

•           Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing
•           Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
•           Robotics and Automation
•           Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)
