MSE is working with ESA to define two pilot projects that demonstrate how Earth Observation and other in-situ data resources can enable a sustainable Blue Economy.

We are asking interested parties to complete a simple form; the purpose of which is to identify organisations having an interest in participating in one or both of these Pilot Projects, either as a user or as a provider of expertise, or as a funding organisation.

Stakeholder consultation has confirmed a need for enhanced information services in two critical areas which are addressed in this response form:

• Higher resolution metocean forecasting than is presently available;
• Mapping of natural capital assets providing important ecosystem services.

Further information is presented on the form on the application use-cases of the pilots, as well as the opportunities for diverse technical expertise, data provision and knowledge advance.

No commitment is implied by completing this form. Respondents will be invited to assist the scoping of the pilot projects and, where appropriate, to participate in the consortium that implements each pilot project.
