Over the past 6 months, the MarRI-UK team has been developing the UK Maritime Technology Roadmap. Throught extensive engagement with the UK maritime sector, including 7 workshops with 200 attendees from 100 organisations across industry, academia and government, they have explored 211 technology systems. Ultimately, 145 were shortlisted and 65 were selected to form the basis of the roadmap.

While the national Roadmap sets out MarRI-UK's long-term ambitions, the Maritime Technology Systems Catalogue provides the concrete engineering substance. It details 65 critical technology systems split across three integrated domains:

• Ports & Infrastructure: Transforming ports into net-zero, cyber-secure, and autonomous logistics hubs.
• Ship System & Technology: Driving the decarbonisation and digital enablement of the fleet.
• Shipyard Design & Build: Pioneering sustainable operation, digital design, and advanced manufacturing.
