Maritime Solent is working with the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce to support the refresh of the 2023 published LISP (Local Skills Improvement Plan). 

This work is funded by the Department for Education, who have chosen the Chamber to be their Employer Representative Body. This skills survey and crucial engagement with industry will inform the new Local Skills Improvement Plan for 2026-2029.

Updating the understanding of skills gaps in the sector and the training that needs to be in place (and in what format) is extremely important. Businesses are therefore asked to take a few minutes to complete the form.

Maritime Solent is leading an important piece of work on Maritime Skills and Careers Teaching CPD, strengthening the pipeline of talent for the maritime sector in the region.
